We are so excited and happy to announce that Rowan is going to be a big brother. YES…our little rainbow baby is due in early March 2017!
It’s been an anxiety filled 12 weeks due to our previous miscarriage last December, we had the first scan on Friday and everything is progressing really well, it’s a massive weight of our minds!
It’s also been around six weeks (and counting) of awful morning sickness, I’ve only been sick once but it’s been constant nausea 24/7 and it’s still going strong. I have food aversions to most things. I can only drink still water and Innocent Tropical Juice (which is something I craved throughout my pregnancy with Rowan) so I’m having to force myself to eat little and often just to get something inside of me.
Fingers crossed it passes soon, it’s so much worse than what I had with Rowan and it stopped around the 14 week mark with him, so I really do hope it moves on so I can stop feeling sorry for myself and get organised! I turned 31 last week and I spent the day in bed as I felt horrendous, so we’ve delayed the celebrations until I’m feeling better.
I can’t wait to be able to share our success story after miscarriage with you and document our pregnancy.
So, here’s to our next incredible chapter.
Before I forget, a HUGE thank you to the lovely Magnificent Stanley who commissioned Rowan’s ‘BIG BRO’ top for us as part of our pregnancy announcement.
