If you’ve not heard of Rockin Baby before they are an American company who sell high quality children’s clothing and slings that are fun and vibrant. They also like to give back as part of their way of working and their company mission is ‘You Buy, We Give’. Essentially they run two campaigns called ‘Mother to Mother’ and ‘Child to Child’ whereby for every baby sling or item of clothing bought, Rockin Baby donate an exact replica to a mother or child in need throughout the world, which I think brilliant!
The Rockin Baby Autumn/Winter ’16 collection has a brilliant selection of children’s wear and we were kindly sent a pair of Racoon Appliqué Pyjamas in size 3-4 years (Rowan is quite tall and we always go for a slightly bigger size so he’ll get more wear out of clothing).
We were so excited when they arrived and loved them straightaway. We knew they’d be well used as Rowan had recently been moved from his sleeping bag style bedding to a duvet and we needed some well made pyjamas to keep him warm when he kicked his duvet off during the night.
The pyjama top is a lovely shade of blue with a cute racoon on the front. The fabric is really soft and the racoon has a slight velvet texture to it. The slim fitting bottoms feature a beautiful forest print with contrasting blue cuffs to match the pyjama top.
The pyjamas wash really well, although there’s one thing to note. After washing the pyjama top a couple of times and air drying we found the velvety material on the racoon faded slightly. Not a problem though as it still looks fab. The rest of the fabric looks as good as new and it hasn’t bobbled at all.
The Rockin Baby Racoon Appliqué Pyjamas retail for £20 although they are currently on special offer for £10. These pyjamas also come in a spaceman print and a bug print which are both really lovely too.
