Personalised Tell My Story Book | Review

Rowan loves books, just like his mummy, and we spend at least an hour a day cuddled up on the sofa reading them over and over and over again! I think I know most of the ones he has off by heart.

The one type of book missing from his collection is a personalised book. Fortunately for us the people behind the company Tell My Story Book got in touch and asked if we’d like to feature one of their children’s personalised books on my blog, and I most certainly did as I had a little look on their website and the books looked brilliant.

Tell My Story Book are based in Ireland and have previously featured on Dragon’s Den. The premise behind their books is to give a complete unique user experience to your child by featuring them within a story, by using a picture of them on every page along with using their name throughout the story.

To order all you need to do is enter your child’s name, gender and then you choose the book that you’d like from their website. You’re taken to another screen that asks you if you’d like to add a personalised dedication and other options such as whether you’d like the book gift wrapped, etc.

Once you’ve gone through the initial checkout phase you’re asked to upload a photograph of your child to be used in the book. There’s a really useful guideline of how to choose and send the perfect photograph.

Once we’d placed our order, the hard backed laminated book arrived within an impressively short four days of ordering. It is absolutely brilliant and so funny too (in a good way!) to see Rowan’s little face on every page of the adventure story. The quality of the book is fantastic, I was a little apprehensive on how the quality would turn out of the photograph I sent and wondered if it would look pixelated once printed but it didn’t at all.

I don’t want to give to much away around the actual story but essentially the character (in this case Rowan) goes on lots of adventures and dresses up as different characters, it is a fun packed story and Rowan absolutely loves it and imagining himself in the story.

This Tell My Story Book is €18 which is currently around £16 (please check the current exchange rate at the time of ordering). It would make a lovely Christmas present and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I adore personalised things so this is right up my street. Eva’s loves reading books and has always loved the personalised ones feature herself. I’ve not heard of this one before so will definetly look into getting it x
