It’s now only 14 weeks until baby number two arrives into the world so I thought it was time that I have a hunt online for newborn baby clothing. I also thought it appropriate to start blogging a lot more around the fact we have baby on the way very soon, hoping it’ll make it a bit more real!
As we haven’t found out the gender of our little one, I’ve kept this wishlist quite unisex featuring mainly sleepsuits and romper suits. With Rowan he wore only sleepsuits/rompers for the first nine months until he got onto his feet, as we found he didn’t really need any other items of clothing.
Here are my top picks so far:
1. Baby Unisex Neutral Spotty Star Sleepsuits // £21.99 // The Essential One
This three piece set is gorgeous and reasonably priced and in beautiful neutral colours. A set perfect to pack in a hospital bag. They look super cosy as they are made from 100% superfine cotton. The sleepsuits include scratch-mittens too.
I absolutely adore the prints on both of these sleepsuits and the colours are lovely. I may have a tiny obsession with foxes at the moment and cute little woodland creatures!
4. Magic Forest Babygrow // £22 // Little Green Radicals
Such a bright and colourful print made from super soft organic cotton, perfect for both a boy and a girl.
5. Nadadelazos Off White Night Time Baby Romper // £31 // Yellow Lolly
This print is so unusual and really caught my eye. Nadadelazos is a Spanish clothing label and is available at Yellow Lolly who have some gorgeous clothing on their website.
6. Liquorice Organic Cotton Sleeveless Romper // €26 // Moobles & Toobles
I spotted this gorgeous romper on Instagram. I first saw the long sleeved version which I’d prefer but this short sleeved romper would work really well with a long sleeved white vest/top underneath it to make it a bit more practical for the cooler months.
7. Penguin Babygrow // £21.90 // From Babies With Love
I love the brand From Babies With Love, I’ve heard some amazing things about their clothing range and they donate 100% of their profits to help orphaned and abandoned children. They have such adorable clothing and who doesn’t love a cute penguin print (this is one that caught Rowan’s eye as he is mad for penguins at the moment).
8. Retro Circus Print Playsuit // £20 // Piccalilly
Who doesn’t love a retro style print?! Again, I love the colours in this playsuit and it’s made from organic cotton, perfect for newborn delicate skin.
These two pieces are from a new brand I discovered recently, they have such beautiful clothing and these two items are perfect for a newborn baby. The grey and white outfit looks so cute and I love a pop of grey. The hooded all-in-one is perfect for those cooler days.
11. Woodland Romper // £21.20 // Pigeon Organics
I love the style of this romper and almost kimono style of it with the asymmetrical opening on the front. Available in lots of different fabrics too, my favourite being the bear fabric in a neutral brown tone.
Would love to know what you think of the items I’ve picked out. Do you have a favourite brand for newborn clothing?
