A few weeks ago our slow cooker broke, it must have been at least 15 years old and was a hand me down, and it was brilliant. The actual crock pot cracked and then broke whilst making a stew and we’ll have to replace it soon, as a slow cooker is a definite essential for when the baby arrives as they are so handy for making quick meals that you can just leave to cook.
So, I thought I’d put together a little wish list of some kitchen and dining essentials I’ve spotted whilst shopping around for a new slow cooker to add to our 2017 plans.
Tefal Cook4Me Multi Cooker // £169 // John Lewis
I’ve read lots of reviews on this multi-cooker over the past few months and it looks really good. It is an easy way to cook lots of different things in lots of different ways. It has lots of pre-programmed recipes and guides to help you cook tasty meals for the family.
Provence Rose 12 Piece Dining Set // £75 // Cath Kinston
I’d love to own a Cath Kidston dining set one day and the Provence Rose set looks beautiful, the bright colours look fab. In fact I’d happily own any of the dining sets from here!
Panasonic Combination Microwave // £349 // Panasonic
The Panasonic Combination Microwave looks like a great all rounder in that it allows you to steam (that’s right in a microwave!), grill and bake your meals in half the time preserving the foods vitamins and minerals during cooking, and of course delicious flavours in your dishes thanks to its revolutionary Turbo Steam technology.
KitchenAid Artisan Mixer Raspberry Ice // £399 // eCookshop
I really enjoy baking and don’t do it as often as I’d like too especially as Rowan also loves to put his apron on and help. I have been eyeing up the KitchenAid mixers for ages as I love the retro look of them and they come in some delicious colours, including Raspberry Ice. I think it would look very pretty sat on the side in our kitchen and would give me plenty of reasons to bake more often!
NutriBullet // £64.50 // Tesco
This is one item we actually have already and it’s brilliant. It’s great for making delicious smoothies and other yummy things. Rowan absolutely loves the NutriBullet fruity concoctions we come up with. We’ve not used it much over the winter period but expect it’ll get plenty of use once the weather turns warmer.
Le Creuset Pan Set // £325 // eCookshop
A Le Creuset Pan Set is something I’ve always wanted to own. My parents had a orange set when I was growing up and they still use them today, the set they have must be at least 30 years old. The Le Creuset range is completely out of our price range at the moment and would definitely be a nice to have!
