Hotmilk Lingerie Nursing Bra | Review

I am currently five months into my breastfeeding journey with our little boy Sergio. Since having him I’ve been wearing the same nursing bras, they are starting to look a little tired and I’m a little bored of them too as they aren’t particularly pretty they are just convenient and practical.

So, I’ve been searching for some prettier nursing bras and thankfully Hotmilk Lingerie came to my rescue and kindly offered to send me one to review.

Not only are their nursing bras feminine, pretty and elegant, they are of course practical and have been made with the pregnant/breastfeeding mama in mind featuring non-wired soft cups to provide maximum support and comfort, along with drop down cups for easy breastfeeding.

Other features include:

  • Cotton lined straps for added comfort
  • 100% cotton lined cups for skin breathability
  • Wider straps on larger sized nursing bras for added strength
  • Six hook and eye extensions for ribcage expansion (perfect for growing with you during pregnancy)
  • A frame support and modesty cover

I was given the option of choosing which of their bras I’d like to review. I picked their best selling design – the Eclipse in black (also available in a nude shade). It is made from a silky microfibre fabric with added lace detailing. There’s also a small satin bow and a few small diamantes on the front to give a little bit of sparkle.

I wasn’t too sure what size to go for – and I was able to use their really easy online sizing guide to work out what size to get and that suggested that I was the correct size and it fits absolutely perfectly. It is unbelievably comfortable yet super stylish making me feel brilliant and definitely more feminine. There’s also room to add nursing pads if you need them, I still leak from time to time so tend to still wear them on a daily basis.

The Eclipse nursing bra retails at £35.95 (free shipping is available when you spend over £30) which I think is really reasonable and about the amount I would spend on a normal quality bra. You can also purchase a matching pair of bikini briefs or french knickers to go with them. At the moment I’m still wearing my big granny pants having had a c-section so I’m just going to wear a black pair of those to match for the time being.

If you haven’t tried Hotmilk Lingerie before I highly recommend them and I have a discount code to share whereby you can receive 10% off your first order using MUMMYLALA10S at the checkout. I’ve already taken advantage of this myself and have ordered another of their stunning designs.
